What types of assistance do you offer?
We offer three main types of housing assistance for people in various situations.
- We can help place you into an apartment via help with first month's rent and security deposit
- We can help keep you in your apartment via ongoing, income-based rental assistance payments
- We can help keep you in your house via ongoing, time-restricted, income-based mortgage assistance
Who do you serve?
We serve a very wide geographic area, and are able to offer housing assistance to 6 of our beautiful counties in parts of North Central and Northeast Pennsylvania: Tioga, Bradford, Sullivan, Columbia, Montour, or Northumberland counties.
Who can apply?
Unfortunately, due to limited funding, we are not able to assist the general public or accept self-referrals. We work with organizations with established referral agreements with our agency. At this time, we are not adding any new organizations to our referral network. If you are an individual in need of housing assistance, please view our partners on our About page.
Where are you located?
The short answer is - we aren't!
Since the pandemic, we decided our staff will work remotely. Because it did not impact our ability to complete our important work, we decided to scrap the overhead costs of having a physical location and reallocate those funds to better serving our clients.
If we need to meet with clients or landlords, we have several community partners spread throughout our service area which allow us to use their spaces to meet with people.
